California is one of my favorite states to visit. The food tastes great, the ocean is amazing and there are so many cute clothing stores. Are you taking a trip to California and need some shopping ideas? We recently were there so I thought it would be a good idea to write about the amazing clothing boutiques and stores we were in.
This year made our third trip to California. Back in 2015, Scott and I got married and picked Oxnard, California for our destination wedding. In 2017, Scott had to travel to Pico Rivera for a work audit so we included a little trip while we were there. This year we had tickets to the Ah-Ha concert in Los Angeles. We went to the concert and also checked out some cities we haven’t been to yet and of course shopping. Each trip was amazing in its own way. SHOPPING IN CALIFORNIA

The first night we stayed in Laguna Beach. There was a bunch of nice shops downtown that we went to. My husband and I both bought shirts from Crazy Shirts. He wore his most of the trip. The picture doesn’t do it justice. It’s super cute.

The second day we spent in California was in Carlsbad. That night we went to the Premium Outlet mall. There were tons of stores to look through. We went into the Guess Factory and I bought a shirt and sunglasses.

We also stopped at the Levi’s Outlet and found this one of a kind jean jacket. Only one other one was made (the other halves of the coat.) Super cute. It was a great find!

We were walking and saw the mannequin outside the door. It had on the cutest fleece top (You can see it in the picture above with the shorts). Had to check it out and ended up buying the pants too. So cute!! The employee was super nice and helpful also!! One of my favorite shops.

After reading about the Melrose Trading post, we thought it sounded like a good way to spend a few hours. We walked by Fairchild Paris Official booth. There were a lot of people shopping here and items were going quick. I’ve always been into the modeling television shows so when I saw the Kate Moss and Naomi Campbell picture, I had to have it.
MALIBU COUNTRY MART

The Malibu Country Mart is located one and half block off the Pacific Coast Highway in the heart of the Malibu Civic Center. Also, very close to Pepperdine University and the Malibu Pier. Here you can see all types of cool shops and also get a bite to eat.
Scott and I had been to the Country Mart in Malibu while visiting in 2017. While we were there, we had gone to eat at Taverna Tony’s and loved it. We wanted the kids to experience it so we spent the day eating and shopping in Malibu. We also had to get Paige’s picture in front of the store “Paige.”

This is one of my favorite stores in California. Unfortunately we were not able to get to the Ventura area and didn’t stop in this time. I wanted to bring it up though if you are in the Venture area, make sure to stop in. It is located with other little shops and is filled with super cute women’s clothing. It is very reasonably priced and the products are good quality. Absolutely love this place!!
SANTA MONICA SHOPING

We were not able to get to the shopping in Santa Monica but were there on a previous trip. Santa Monica has blocks of cool stores to check out. Many of their unique shops can be found on Montana Avenue, Main Street and also Wilshire Boulevard. When we did shop here, we also walked to the Pier which has a ton of little vendors to visit and fun rides.
RODEO DRIVE SHOPPING

One of the places I really wanted to go while in California in 2015, was Rodeo Drive. We went before a lot of the stores were open and walked around. It is an amazing place. If you have never been here, I’d recommend going.
SANTA BARBARA SHOPPING

When we were in California in 2015, we shopped in Santa Barbara and I loved it. There were a lot of cute stores at the time and even some second hand clothing stores that had high end brands in them. I really wanted to shop here again but we weren’t in the area. Definity check out the shopping if you are in the Santa Barbara area.
